This “ASL Club for Families” focuses on developing American Sign Language skills using a combination of games, storytelling, and art, so that the entire family can connect and improve communication with their Deaf or pre-verbal child. This 4-week class is custom-designed specifically around each family’s skill set and builds upon their knowledge of the ASL alphabet, numbers, basic vocabulary, and common phrases.
No prior experience is necessary.
ASL resources and handouts provided by the instructor.
Instructor: Teresa Sedano, M.A., CI/CT
Each Zoom log-in should have their own enrollment with family members joining from the same household gathered around one computer in the same room so that they can communicate with each other in sign during the class without doing so through the screen. If you have 4 people in your household, you need only 1 enrollment. If you have family members who will join from another computer, they will need their own enrollment. If you are unclear about how this works, please reach out to info@artplaylearn.com.
Classes are non-refundable unless we cancel. In the event your scheduled teacher is unable to teach the scheduled class, we will first attempt to provide a substitute. If a substitute is not available, we will attempt to re-schedule.
